Established in 1975, Sanmal A.S. is active in filmmaking (dramatic features, TV and commercials). Sanmal’s principals Ersin Pertan (screenwriter and director) and
Annie Geelmuyden-Pertan (production designer and producer) are experienced professionals in the film and commercials industry.

Their latest film is a documentary about Orhan Aksoy, a veteran Turkish film director who passed away this year. The project was partially financed by The Ministry of Culture.

They also just completed a documentary about Giovanni Scognamillo, an immigrant with Italian origins living in Istanbul. He is a celebrated writer, film critic and historian.

Their latest feature film is HEALING THE PAST, in production with Elyapimi Film. It has premier in the theater 9th October.
